Please be advised that all extracurricular activities scheduled for January 26, 2026, have been canceled due to hazardous weather conditions, including low temperatures, snow, and ice on roadways.
The following are affected:
All games and practices

We prioritize the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and families. Please take appropriate precautions to stay warm and safe during these winter weather conditions.
Good afternoon, Cissna Park families! Cissna Park Schools will be closed tomorrow due to the expected frigid temperatures. Tomorrow will be an e-learning day. Please follow the same protocols as you did on Friday. Closing school is often a difficult decision and it’s not taken lightly, but student safety will always come first. Stay safe and warm, everyone.
Good Afternoon! Cissna Park Schools will be closed tomorrow due to the forecasted extreme cold temperatures. Tomorrow will be an E-Learning Day. Mrs. Hurliman will be sending an email through TeacherEase with more information for students in grades 6-12. Mrs. Niebuhr will provide additional information through ClassDojo for students in grades K-5. Please stay safe and warm.
Cissna Park Families: We are monitoring the dangerously low temperatures forecasted for Friday morning and may need to use an E-learning day for the safety of our students. No final decision has been made, but we want to give families time to plan for childcare if needed. Our E-Learning plan is posted on the district website under the “Parents and Students” tab. Updates will be shared as soon as possible.
Pick up your dinner at the school tonight!
