The elementary school participated in the Bikes for Books program provided by the Watseka Masonic Lodge. Students had two months to read books with a chance to win a bicycle for each book read. A total of 550 books were read by elementary students. Christopher Both, David Munson, and Keith Marcum from the Watseka Masonic Lodge joined all of the students for the drawing. Kindergarten student Maren Knapp won the bicycle and excitedly posed with her mom, teacher Alyson Knapp, and the gentleman from the lodge.
