Cissna Park CUSD 6

The Cissna Park Education Foundation donated classroom rugs to the elementary school. Kindergarten, first grade, and second grade classrooms house these large sit spot rugs. The rugs provide a workspace away from sitting in a chair at a desk. Students each have a spot to sit when learning as a group, or they are able to stretch out their bodies when working individually. Colors and numbers on the rugs enable teachers to use them as grouping spots or for extended learning. These rugs assist with daily routines and procedures, as well.
